Six by James Crow

If you have a dirty mind, you will love this book. It is filthy, but oh so good. It's a good storyline, with great writing that can't help but draw the reader into the story. Once you start, it's kind of hard to put it back down again. The characters are interesting; especially Emma, Jonathon & Suki. Be prepared for a lot of sex; not everyone is good at writing sex scenes, I'm pleased to report that isn't a problem James Crow has, some might say he is a master!
My only real complaint, and it's more of a personal preference than complaint is that something happens in the last chapter that just seemed way too fast for me, I know I'm being super vague about this but I don't want to spoil anything. I am really hoping this isn't the last we've seen of Emma & Jonathon, they are great characters and I'm sure there's much more to their story. Also, let's not forget Suki, that girl needs a book too.

I would definitely recommend picking up this book and right now it's only $0.99 - so what are you waiting for?

Detecting Lust by Mikey Lee.

I thought this was a great debut book, it was a quick, easy read. It has a good storyline; Detective Seth Lane is investigating a sexual assault case, normally I stay away from books that involve rape but Mikey Lee handles it with sensitivity and it didn't feel like it was being used for entertainment or controversy (he got an extra star for that alone). I liked the relationship between Seth and his wife, Zee. It was different to a lot of books, in that they are a happily married couple, they help and support each other (and have some incredible sex too) but it's really background noise to the focus of the story, which is the investigation and I loved that.

Occasionally the sudden POV change threw me but not for long and it didn't really take away from the story. I'm hoping future books will see other character stories expanded on..especially Ashley, you just know she has to have an awesome backstory.

I am looking forward to reading more from Mikey Lee, so I hope he is sat at a computer right now and typing away at book 2.

Feast by Jeremiah Knight

You really need to have read Hunger before reading this book, I'm not going to say too much about Feast as I don't want to ruin anything if you've yet to read Hunger - go pick it up now. (I'll post the link for both below).

Feast is a great book, the writing is superb and just draws you in. It's full of action and suspense, you can't help but sit on the edge of your seat and wonder what will happen next. Feast has some characters that you will instantly dislike and if you're like me, while reading the book you'll start questioning when someone is going to kill the person in question. You'll have to read the book to find out if they do. The end of the book left me with a huge question mark and I NEED answers. I'm hoping Jeremiah Knight doesn't keep us waiting too long.
